Short bio:
“Born in 1976 in A Corunha, Galiza (Spain). Graduated in Software Engineering at UDC (University of A Corunha),1999. Ph.D. in Computer Science from UDC, 2006.
Co-founder and member of Igalia, a company started in 2001 and devoted to free software development and research. Coordinates and participates in different free software projects at Igalia, including Fisterra, started in 2003, that provides a framework for developing business management software with Gnome technologies.
He also has given since 2001 several courses at the UDC related to software design and programming.
User of Gnome and member of the community since 2001. In 2005 he was co-organizer of the II Guadec Hispana. During the last years has given talks and published articles in several international conferences, some of them doing Gnome and free software advocacy.”
