If you have a marvelous ThinkPad T61 connected to an Advanced Mini Dockstation, and every time power is cut the laptop hangs, then try this:

1. Enter BIOS, DockStation section.
2. Disable “Legacy Device Support“.

Next time power is cut, your laptop won’t freeze. The bad news is that doing this both parallel and serial ports in the Dock won’t work.
