A couple of days ago I talked about the Mutt Sidebar patch. Today I have learned that at the beginning of 2005, a fork of Mutt, the Mutt-ng project, was created. The fork appears as an answer to the slow uptake of interesting new features in the original project, and includes the sidebar as one of the main improvements. The project has a development weblog and a wiki.
