It has really been an amazing, <a title=\"Neil Young - Rockin'In The Free World\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PdiCJUysIT0\" target=\"_blank\">rocking<\/a> place to be, and I have the best wishes for the company and its people.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_429\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/femorandeira\/files\/2014\/12\/post.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-429\" class=\"wp-image-429\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/femorandeira\/files\/2014\/12\/post-1024x411.jpg\" alt=\"Malm\u00f6 seaside view\" width=\"600\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/femorandeira\/files\/2014\/12\/post-1024x411.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/femorandeira\/files\/2014\/12\/post-300x120.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-429\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Malm\u00f6 seaside view, with the bridge to Denmark in the background.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Currently, I am living in Malm\u00f6 (Sweden), where I am taking part in the <a title=\"Malm\u00f6 University - Master's Interaction Design\" href=\"http:\/\/edu.mah.se\/en\/Program\/TAINE\" target=\"_blank\">Master in Interaction Design<\/a>. This will be my second Master&#8217;s degree, after <a title=\"University of York - MSc. in Human-Centred Interactive Technologies\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.york.ac.uk\/postgraduate\/taught-courses\/msc-hcit\/\" target=\"_blank\">the one on HCI<\/a> that I studied at the University of York in 2009. But whereas that was more focused on theory and academical research, this one is eminently practical: the course is structured around projects that try to go beyond the boundaries of mainstream everyday design, using many different techniques and tools to gather insights and quickly build working prototypes.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know yet what the future holds, but that is a question for the new year.<\/p>\n<p>This blog will be frozen after this post; if you want to keep in touch, I&#8217;m\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/felipeerias\">@felipeerias<\/a> on Twitter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a quick (and slightly delayed) note to let you all know that after seven years I have left Igalia.
