More info <a href=\"http:\/\/vagalume.igalia.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that this is an experimental release and doesn&#8217;t contain the complete set of features. It might also be more unstable than the GNU\/Linux version. We&#8217;d like to hear about your problems with this version in <a href=\"https:\/\/garage.maemo.org\/mail\/?group_id=447\">the mailing lists<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Vagalume for Windows has been tested on XP and Vista. Here are screenshots of both versions (click to enlarge):<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n<tr>\n<td><a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/berto\/files\/2008\/08\/vagalume-winxp.png\" title=\"Vagalume 0.6 on Windows XP\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/berto\/files\/2008\/08\/vagalume-winxp.thumbnail.png\" alt=\"Vagalume 0.6 on Windows XP\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<td><a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/berto\/files\/2008\/08\/vagalume-winvista.png\" title=\"Vagalume 0.6 on Windows Vista\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.igalia.com\/berto\/files\/2008\/08\/vagalume-winvista.thumbnail.png\" alt=\"Vagalume 0.6 on Windows Vista\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p><b>Installation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To use Vagalume in Windows, you need to install:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/gtk-win.sourceforge.net\/home\/index.php\/Downloads\">gtk2 runtime<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/gstreamer.freedesktop.org\/pkg\/windows\/releases\/\">GStreamer<\/a> including all gst-plugins-* packages (base, good, bad and ugly).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some important notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When installing GStreamer, you will be asked whether to use the existing GLib installation or to install a new one. Choose <b>no<\/b> to use the existing installation.<\/li>\n<li>When installing Vagalume, you will be asked whether to install an icon theme. If in doubt, choose <b>Yes<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Go <a href=\"http:\/\/people.igalia.com\/berto\/files\/vagalume\/windows\/\">here<\/a> to download Vagalume for Windows. There are two different installers, the <tt>full<\/tt> and the <tt>minimal<\/tt> installer.<\/p>\n<p>Both will ask you to install GTK+ and GStreamer (just choose <em>no<\/em> if you have already installed them). The difference is that the full version comes with both packages, while the minimal version will point you to their respective web pages.<\/p>\n<p>To uninstall Vagalume, go to the Windows control panel.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, comments and suggestions are welcome.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding Vagalume 0.7, we&#8217;re fixing a couple of bugs that we&#8217;ve recently found.
