About me
Hi, my name is Mario Sánchez Prada, and I’m a (Free) software developer at Igalia, a Free Software Engineering company which is currently located at A Coruña and Vigo, two amazing cities from a very nice region of Spain called Galicia.
I was about to put here some information about what cool projects I’m currently working on, but that would force me to keep this page updated too much often for my taste 
, so I think I’ll just summarize my interests, hobbies and contact information in this page, and I imagine you’ll be able to make up an idea of what kind of work I’m working on right now.
Computer – related interests
I’m really interested in almost everything about computers . In a more specific way:
- GNU/Linux, Free Software and community based developments.
- Gnome/GTK hacking, specially when focused on mobile and embedded platforms (Maemo and Moblin platforms, for instance)
- Learning about different kinds of programming languages: Java, C, PHP, Python, Erlang…
- Networks and communication systems.
- Shell scripting.
Other interests and hobbies
I’m also interested in a large variety of issues far away from tech stuff:
- Learning and performing diabolo tricks.
- Playing guitar (amateur skills).
- Travelling and making short trips with my girlfriend and/or friends.
- Everything about parties and summer festivals
. - Going out at night.
- Swimming, biking, pool… a good, fresh and nice beer
- … (lots of things I don’t remember right now)
